System ankle joints provide different constructive features. Consequently, a very precise adaptation to different indications is possible. Each system ankle joint offers adjustment possibilities for the range of motion in:
- dorsiflexion or
- plantar flexion or
- dorsiflexion and plantar flexion.
In order to be able to react to the course of therapy, some system joints can be converted to another joint version or into another system joint. This is beneficial as there is no need to produce a new orthosis and costs can be avoided. Not all options are the same for every system joint. For an optimum combination of system components based on patient data, please use the Orthosis Configurator.
