The NEURO VARIO 2 system ankle joint provides motion control and enables an adjustment of the orthosis’ alignment. The range of motion can be adjusted in both dorsiflexion and plantar flexion using the adjusting screw units (maximum 10° per direction of movement). The pressure springs in the adjusting screw units reduce the noise of the static stops.
Furthermore, the NEURO VARIO 2 system ankle joint was designed with plug + go modularity. This means that it can be converted to any other system ankle joint with plug + go modularity by exchanging the functional unit.
